Easy Installation for Maximum Performance

Follow these simple steps to create a seamless, functional magnetic wall that will stand the test of time:

Any type of magnet will work with Wallrock Magnetwall, but for optimal results, we recommend using Neodymium magnets. These provide superior strength and ensure your magnetic surface performs at its best.

Prepare Your Wall for Success:

Ensure the wall is clean, smooth, and free from any dust, dirt, or flaky materials.

Patch any cracks or holes, and smooth over rough areas to create an even surface.

For newly plastered or porous surfaces, apply Wallrock Multi-purpose Primer & Sealer to promote strong adhesion.

Applying Wallrock Magnetwall:

Apply the Magnetwall liner directly to your prepared wall, ensuring it is smooth and secure.

Brush down firmly along the edges to avoid any lifting.

Allow the liner to dry for a minimum of 24 hours.

Decorative Paper Application:

Once your Magnetwall is dry, you can enhance its appearance by covering it with non-woven (PTW) lining paper such as Wallrock Fibreliner Original, Fibreliner Smooth, or Fibreliner Ultracover. Decorative wallpaper can also be applied directly to the surface of Magnetwall though we would recommend non-woven (PTW) products only.

For best results, use Wallrock Dampstop Thermic Adhesive for applying Wallrock Magnetwall, Wallrock Fibreliner or any non-woven decorative paper you may wish to use, this adhesive will ensure a strong and lasting bond.

Optimal Adhesive Use:

Apply between 100ml and 200ml of Wallrock Thermic Adhesive to the wall surface.

To ensure maximum adhesion, also apply 100ml of adhesive to the reverse side of the Magnetwall liner.

For the best results, you’ll need between 1.5kg and 2kg of adhesive, depending on the texture and finish of your wall.
